About Dr. Goldie Rosen, B.Sc., DVM
Dr. Goldie Rosen graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 1998 and worked as a veterinarian at a variety of companion animal hospitals in Southern Ontario.
In 2004, Dr. Rosen was the founder of Halton Veterinary House Call Services, a mobile practice providing expert care for the full life-cycle of dogs and cats from prenatal stages until the end of life. This practice, accredited by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario, offered the local community essential mobile veterinary services.
In 2016, Dr. Rosen began exclusively doing home pet euthanasia services. After experiencing the need in many emergency situations, it became clear to her that a professional was not only needed to perform humane elective euthanasia but to also offer guidance and support through the entire process.
Dr. Rosen is often available within a few hours notice to help her clients during stressful and emotional situations. Whether it is an emergency call or prearranged home pet euthanasia, Dr. Rosen strives to be a beacon of light in a time of need.
Dr. Rosen believes that the in-home pet euthanasia service provides a vaulable alternative for animal owners. She is devoted to providing the highest quality of care in a compassionate, supportive, and ethical manner. She continuously strives to exceed her clients’ expectations by advocating the value of the human-animal bond while in a relaxing, confortable home atmosphere.
During her free time, Dr. Rosen can be found practicing yoga, spending time with her two children, hitting balls at the range or on a golf course, traveling, or walking her beloved dog, a Shepherd/Lab cross named Sunny.
Our pets are family. They deserve our best.
